Marinara Sauce

cook until soft:

1 C chopped onion
2 large cloves garlic, minced
2 T cooking oil

Add:

28 oz can diced tomatoes
1/2 6 oz can tomato paste
1 t sugar
1 t oregano
1/4 t salt
dash of pepper

simmer uncovered 30 minutes
